Smoky Chipotle Black Beans and Rice
The flavor of our red pepper speckled Smoky Chipotle Black Beans and Rice might remind you of a spicy burrito. That is because it features typical southwestern seasonings like garlic, cumin, and hot chipotle peppers. The word chipotle comes from Nahuatl, the language of the Aztecs who lived in what is now Mexico. It means smoked chile. Ours are smoked jalapenos which give a distinctive spicy kick!
Fantastic and satisfying as-is or mixed with tomato, avocado, radish or shredded cabbage. It pairs well with any kind of Mexican food or ingredients. And it makes a great instant burrito or taco salad. Or get adventurous and use our Smoky Chipotle Black Beans and Rice to fill some bell peppers or mushrooms (or one of our other recipes)!
