What is the easiest thing to eat for lunch?

It’s way past noon, you’re starving, but there are still a million things to get done. No time to run to the deli or wait around for food delivery. You need something fast and nutritious to fuel your afternoon, and you need it now. I invented Yumbini quick beans and rice just for you! Here are four reasons you will agree it is the easiest thing to eat for lunch:

  • Pure and Simple: Take Yumbini dry mix out of your cupboard, desk, bag or backpack, combine with water and heat. In 6 minutes you have a delicious steaming bowl of beans and rice. You can even measure the amount of water in the empty pouch! One package makes a full meal for one person. Tons of fiber and 14-15g protein will fill you up and keep you going strong until dinner (or beyond!).
  • Make it in the morning: Before you get all carried away with your day, pour the dry Yumbini into a wide mouth insulated (Thermos-type) food container. Add BOILING water. Screw on the cap and stash this little bundle of goodness aside until your stomach reminds you it is time to EAT! Don’t reach for the chips, Yumbini will be warm and ready for you to dig in! Read more about making Yumbini in a Thermos here.
  • Make it the night before: When my kids were little, I made all the lunches for the following day the night before. I didn’t love doing it when I really wanted to go to bed, but it saved a lot of time next morning. No matter when you make it, Yumbini only takes 6 minutes start to finish. So it is easy to cook up and then stash in the refrigerator for the next day. If you want to get fancy, try some of the advanced lunchbox tips in this article. (For safety’s sake, please do not leave any refrigerated food out of the refrigerator for more than 4 hours.)
  • Invite the leftovers: Yumbini is delicious with all those leftover bits of vegetables, fruit, meat, cheese, etc. So, cook up a bowl and garnish your way to a masterpiece! If you add enough goodies, you can share with a friend. Here are some suggested toppings that you may not have thought about.
